At least that's what they called the original Gundam, and since the whole Unicorn thing is like the second coming of Amuro and Char...
Whatever, as I said before, I planned to do something more elaborate with this kit, so here's a list of what I have done so far:
- Painted the entire psychoframe parts with clear red (lost the vulcans, but one fella offered to send them to me).
- All the gray parts were painted with Vallejo dark gray.
- Sanded down the back of the V-fin, as out of the box it comes with some strange bulges. Then I painted the back and sides with white, while the front was painted with silver and then clear yellow. The result looks damn good to me.
- I used red instead of the usual black in the few panel lines I wanted to highlight.
- Applied a few leftover stickers and random decals.
- All the thrusters were painted silver, then I applied a coat of clear blue inside them. I also love the result.
- Instead of topcoat, I'm using Tamiya Pearl Clear to give the whole kit a glittering effect on its armor (like my VF-25F or the Takemikazuchi).
So far so good, the limbs are next.
