Tired of getting scammed by sellers telling you that X, Y or Z Myth Cloth figure is worth 3 times its price only because it is a JP version? Well, you can finally tell those guys to fuck off thanks to this official statement released by Tamashii Nations, that should put an end to that myth and the abuses people got away with by invoking it once and for all.
While the statement also offers details of the official distributors of Tamashii Nations around the world, the key of the message is this:
"Please note that Tamashii Nations product specification does not vary depending on market of release unless otherwise specified. Stickers and packaging elements may differ depending on the territory the product is sold in for license related reasons. With regards to a product series where license labels differ in color or are applied/not applied based on the market which they are sold in, assertions that a difference in licensor sticker color or existence/non-existence of a license sticker reflects upon the quality or production location of the products are purely false. The application of and different colors of the aforementioned stickers solely reflect on licensor policy and are not intended to be used as a measure of value or grade of quality. All official Tamashii Nations products uphold the same level of quality control regardless of the market in which they are sold or color of any license sticker on packaging."
Satisfied? Be sure to spread the word to other collectors out there!

If every Myth Cloth (and every Bandai figure for that matter) is made in chinese factories, regardless of where in the world it's sold, I never will understand how some people still believe that bullshit about the japanese sticker...
And according to this it would seem Tamashii pretend to diminish the inflated prices of resellers in ebay and other local stores with their new distributors around the world.
That's a great news for us customers around the world. We could buy figures at more affordable prices and potentially receiving some kind of warranty for them, in cases such as the left-left knee part of EX Aioria.
Also means they would be more open to hear the international market, as already happened with Bluefin distributors whose campaigns made Bandai release some figures based on North American market.
