Zao Zao Gundam

Finished it. This was my first SD Gundam I built and I must say even though it is immensely less complicated than its MG cousins, it made no difference in how I enjoyed building, painting and detailing it.

I was very pleased with the result I got from this little fella, especially with the flat tone it gained with just a little topcoat, that dark red looks great in my opinion. Excuse some messy paintbrushes on the gold and silver details here and there, as apparently the topcoat had a different effect over the acrylic paint and made them more evident.

Frankly, I don't have any kind of info about this Gundam, I do know thanks to Ngee Khiong that this thing and a ton more are from the Sangokuden series but that's it. Oh well, I still got another SD Gundam stored which I'm gonna start soon (as soon as the exams period is over, of course ^^).

Waiting for one's arrival... don't worry, the next SD also has one big sword...
